Having a baby in Brisbane

Brisbane has seen an explosion of lesbians getting pregnant and having babies over the last couple of years. A big part of this trend can be attributed to the change in laws in Queensland and better access to health and fertility treatments. Understanding how confusing and time consuming the research process can be, we’ve pulled together some information on the first few steps each lesbian/couple can take on their journey to become mums. Rally for Same Sex Marriage – 14 August

On the 6th anniversary of the ban on same sex marriage, come out to keep up the pressure on the government. Let them know this is an issue that will not go away. We will keep fighting, and keep demanding equal rights until they are won.

Big things are planned for this day so stay tuned…

Equal Love is a nationwide campaign for same sex marriage in Australia. Through education and direct action, we aim to change public attitudes towards gays and lesbian relationship and put pressure on the government to legislate for equal marriage rights.

It is with utmost pleasure to announce their first official debut to Qsesh as My Cerulean Heart. The guys formally known as Dizzygotheca return with a new sound, more band members to make bittersweet avante pop folktronica that will leave you begging for more. Oh and if that wasn’t enough after their successful debut a little while back ‘Looking Glass Liars’ are making their grand return. So you can bet this will be one heck of a night with some of the best music Brisbane has to offer.

On the Decks we’ll have DJ Tony M making his debut and burlesque performer Mackenzie Dulcet will be making her debut at Qsesh this sunday so don’t miss out.
